Take your measurements from your body

To take your measurements from your body you need a friend to help you. Please follow these simple guidelines.

1. Shirt length

Lunghezza-camicia

This measurement is used to determine the lenght of your shirt. Take the measure using a tape measure parallel to your back, from the base of your neck to under your buttocks.

2. Shoulder width

Larghezza-spalle

Measure your shoulders from bone to bone, at the top edge of each of them, following your natural curve (see the image).

3. Sleeve length

LUNGHEZZA-MANICHE

Take the measurement starting from the bone on the top edge of your shoulder until just below your wrist bone. Be careful to keep your arm bent at 90 degrees.

4. Neck circumference

CIRCONFERENZA-COLLO

Measure around your neck. Place your finger between the tape measure and your neck, so that the collar won’t be too tight.

5. Chest width

ampiezza-torace

Measure around your chest, beneath your armpits, in line with your nipples. Try not to leave any empty space between your chest and the tape measure: this kind of measurement must be as precise as possible. The wearability of your shirt depends on the model you choose (classic fit, slim fit, regular fit).

6. Waist circumference

CIRCONFERENZA VITA

Wrap the measuring tape around your waist at widest point, inline with your belly button. Also in this case, please keep the measuring tape well leveled. The wearability will depend on the model you choose.

7. Hip circumference

Measure your waist at the height of the hips. Leave one finger between the tape and the body in order to avoid the rear puff.

8. Biceps circumference

To measure the circumference of your biceps, make a full fist and make sure the measuring tape is well adherent to your bicep but keeping a finger between your bicep and the measuring tape.

9. Forearm circumference

avambraccio

Even in this case, make the measuring tape adhering to the forearm but consider one finger between the tape and your body.

10. Wrist circumference

Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist, just below your wrist bone. Be careful the measuring tape is leveled.
